Essential Oils - Nature’s Fragrance for Body and Mind
Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts that carry the scent and therapeutic properties of flowers, leaves, woods, and resins. When used in the sauna, they can support relaxation, clarity, grounding, or renewal - depending on the oils you choose.
At Flyt Sauna, we recommend using pure essential oils or curated blends designed for sauna use. A few drops are all you need to awaken the senses and deepen your connection to the moment.
We recommend using the Aroma Cup. This soapstone vessel is specially designed for essential oils, allowing the scent to blend with the sauna steam and gently diffuse throughout the sauna room.
The aroma cup is placed among the sauna stones. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. When water is poured into the cup, it will slowly come to a boil, releasing a long-lasting and more pleasant steam. This allows the aroma to evaporate gently and consistently throughout your entire sauna session.
