Sjøbris Retreat

Sjøbris Retreat on Venøy in Stad municipality, located 28 km from Måløy (approximately 30 minutes by car), is a cabin currently under construction and expected to be completed by late summer 2024.

The cabin is being built adjacent to Rutt-Lovise's grandmother's family property, bringing with it stories of the fisherman-farmer, the dream of America, the challenges of being young a servant girl, hardships, and difficult times. At the same time, it also tells stories of strong family ties, solidarity, and the ability to find meaning and joy in the little things.
